The Challenge

Women in Global Health (WGH) Zambia began with Dr. Mwenya Kasonde after a 2019 regional health conference, and grew with Dr. Choolwe Jacobs and Flata Mwale. It started with 12 pioneering individuals and now has nearly 300 health professionals. It was formally launched in 2022 with the endorsement of the Minister of Health, Honourable Sylvia Masebo. As a locally registered non-profit, it works on gender equity in health leadership, sexual and reproductive health and rights (SRHR), and the protection of female health workers. The challenge was to give the organisation one clear, consistent brand. It needed a website, print materials and social media assets to manage a growing membership, engage international policy partners, and share its advocacy work.

Our Approach and Solution

We designed a connected digital and print brand system to raise WGH Zambia's visibility and support its growth. The aim was a professional, welcoming presence that reflects its local mission and stays within WGH's global brand guidelines.

Unified Brand and Identity Architecture

Visual System

We refined and applied a clean, gender-inclusive visual identity suited to public health settings. It stays consistent with the global organisation's look while reflecting the public health context in Zambia.

Stakeholder Print Collateral and Social Toolkits

Print & Social Media Layouts

To support advocacy workshops and government engagement events, we designed print materials, including policy briefs, informational brochures and event roll-up banners. We also made simple, reusable social media templates, so the team can promote its monthly engagement meetings, advocacy campaigns and capacity-building webinars.

Community-Centric and Accessible Web Platform

Full-Stack Web Development

We built the website as WGH Zambia's central online home. It includes a member directory for its multidisciplinary network, resource pages on its core pillars (Universal Health Coverage, SRHR and pandemic response), and event calendars that help drive registration for local webinars and campaigns.

The Outcome

WGH Zambia now has a consistent presence that connects its grassroots community with advocacy at ministerial level. The mobile-friendly website makes it easy for health workers across Zambia to join the chapter, and the print and social materials give the team a professional set of tools for policy dialogues and international collaborations.
