The Challenge

Country Lodge is a hospitality group with lodges in four Zambian towns: Lusaka, Sioma, Mongu and Solwezi. Each lodge serves its own mix of corporate travellers, mining executives and leisure tourists. The Mongu lodge, for example, sits on Independence Avenue and has 40 ensuite rooms, from standard doubles to Presidential suites. The challenge was fragmentation. With the lodges spread across the country, their print materials, social media feeds and online booking felt disconnected. The group needed one brand identity and one web presence that tied all four lodges together, while letting each lodge promote what makes its location different.

Our Approach and Solution

We built a design system for a group with several locations. A shared baseline for digital and physical materials means travellers recognise a Country Lodge anywhere in Zambia.

Cross-Province Identity System

Hospitality Branding

We developed a brand identity that carries the group's tagline, "Exceeding your expectations." Warm, earthy tones paired with deep corporate colours echo the greenery of lodges like the one in Mongu, and they work across stationery and signage.

Multi-Branch Print and Social Frameworks

Print and Social Asset Development

We produced print materials tailored to each lodge, including welcome brochures, room directories and menus. For social media we set up one content framework shared by all the lodges, so the group can promote one location to another's audience, such as Sioma holidays to business travellers in Lusaka, or corporate stays in Solwezi and Mongu.

Centralized Multi-Lodge Web Platform

Multi-Property Web Development

We built a central website with a landing page that leads to a page for each lodge. Each lodge page covers local details such as room counts, photo galleries of the Presidential suites, nearby landmarks like Barotse Mall in Mongu, and local tour options.

The Outcome

Country Lodge now presents its separate lodges as one recognisable national brand. The new website simplifies group bookings and direct room enquiries, and gives local and international travellers a consistent experience across the country.
